Natalia Flores Professor Benuto English 255 4 April 2014 Liberia: War Underfoot The portrait presented of Monrovia Liberia the Capital, the first thing noticeable was the all over was ridden with huge amounts of bullet casing. Every square inch of flooring is bullet casing and a person seems to be male wearing flip flop sandals. Large quantities of casing bullets not just in a bunch in one particular area; give you an indications of a high crime country. The scenes of the building with bullet holes, with a greater understanding of fear and chaos all around within Liberia. The fear the people of Liberia made me upset and great heartache to realize that all people don’t live free but with fear on a daily basis. Further reading in Central Intelligence agency and overlooking history, sadness me to see that the United States did help established Liberia. Somewhat used area and resources and no longer utilized just abandoned the country into harmful political powers. It was established for the convenience of the United States to deport salves back. Then United States allowed them to relay on the government while got used to military being station there for since until the Cold War was over. The United States just left an allied country in shambles with dictators that ruined the country in destruction. Recently found an article with an Emboli outbreak that has risen nine hours ago, but Liberia was spared for now. Liberia is located south west of Africa; south is north bordered at Sierra Leon, dense with tropical rain forest. Founded in 1822 by the United States to elevate the United States of freed slaves ‘and shipped them back to that part of Africa. The United States plays a huge part in coming in oppressing people in a political nice way then disregards the country when no longer needed. In conclusion, there is a possible way for the United States can figure a way to find resourceful way to help an allied country.
